Frequently Asked Questions
Many customers ask us what they can do to keep their windows looking their best. On this page are some practical, easy tips for maintaining your windows’ lustrous shine. If you don’t find the topic below, we’ll be happy to answer your question. Simply submit a contact request and we will respond within 24 hours.
Contact RequestQ. How often should my windows be cleaned?
A. We recommend window cleaning service at least once a year, preferably every 6 months. Proper glass care will extend the life of your windows and the screens. Dirt, pollen, and debris collects on your glass, screens and tracks which can cause difficulty when opening a window, and it can lead to pitting and baked on stains.
Q. Is there a simple way to clean shower doors?
A. Shower doors often become cloudy with mineral deposits. For your primary shower used every day, we recommend you scrub the glass with steel wool #0000, you can buy from Home Depot, once a month, and spray the glass with Rain-X to keep the hard water stains away. It is always easier to maintain glass than restore glass. For a secondary shower, you should do the same steps at least once every 3 months.
Q. What is included in a typical residential window cleaning service?
A. We typically clean the inside and outside glass panes, the screens, and the tracks. We are willing to customize your window cleaning service to fit your needs and your budget.
Q. How far will you drive?
A. We will go where the work is! We typically will drive up to 60 miles each way to get to a job site, but we have gone even farther to such locations as Santa Maria, CA.
Q. What services do you offer?
A. We provide the following services:
- Commercial & Residential Window Cleaning
(we also have experience with architectural homes with large window elements) - Screen Cleaning
- Glass Restoration
- Gutter Cleaning
- Solar Panel Cleaning
- Skylight Cleaning
Q. How do I get a quote?
A. We are often asked for a quote over the phone. We prefer to come out and give you an estimate after we have walked the site. This will give you a more accurate estimate. It is based on the number of windows, the size of the windows, the location of the windows and how easy it is to get to them, and the condition of your windows.
